November 1, 2009 - Curtain Call owned by Shannon Reid and ridden by Courtney Calcagnini won the $10,000 Hunter Derby and were Reserve Champion in the Regular Working Hunters at the Dallas Harvest Horse Show in Tyler, TX. Taylor Reid made her debut in the Junior Hunter's with her new mount Day Dream and took home the Reserve Champion honors. She also placed consistently in the equitation on Ovation picking up 2nd in the ASPCA Maclay. MTM First Class Ticket and Courtney earned Reserve Champion honors in the 3'3" Pre-Green Hunter division. This was owner Madeline Pierce's first show since purchasing him just over a month ago and they placed consistently in the Adult Amateur Hunters. Kristen Blomstrom rode Starry Night and MTM Casini in the Children's Hunter. She was second on MTM Casini in the Child Eq over fences. She also rode Siren in the low Child/Adult jumpers and placed fifth. This was her first time to ever show in the jumpers! Coulten Maynard joined the CSC show team after only one month back in the English Saddle. We are excited to have him with us. |
