Ovation 2nd in $15,000 Derby |

September 6, 2009 - Ovation owned by Taylor Reid and ridden by Courtney Calcagnini finished second overall in the $15,000 Hunter Derby sponsored by the Chronicle of the Horse at the Texas Sport Horse Cup in Tyler, TX. This was Courtney's first outing with Ovation and they look forward to many more Hunter Derbys. Curtain Call, owned by Shannon Reid finished up fifth overall in the Derby and was Champion in the Regular Working Hunters. Curtain Call also won the Working Hunter Classic. Starry Night owned by Kristen Blomstrom was Champion in the Pre-Green Hunters with Courtney and also picked up the blue in the Pre-Green Hunter Classic. Taylor Reid and her jumper TR Valentino were Champion in the 1.05M jumper division. |
